Didn’t stick to anything yesterday

I actually got to stay home with my kids yesterday so I didn’t follow anything lol.

I ended up eating a handful of (plain) tortilla chips for breakfast! Then I had a cup of chicken noodle soup for lunch. Then last night I had chicken alfredo!  Then the worst part was I had an oreo then I had one of these other cookies we make at the holidays. It’s two ritz crackers with peanutbutter in the center dipped in white chocolate. They are too good to pass up. After I had one I put them out of my sight and well didn’t eat any more!

Didn’t exercise either yesterday. I worked with the kids on cleaning up from the holidays. Getting the tree down and put away and things of that nature. Anyways Fixing to get ready for work. My main goal for today is to not allow my co-workers to coax me into eating junk. They are all overeaters! And as so they try to get you to eat everything with them. Today I just say NO!!!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi April, I didn’t stick to my goals for yesterday either…..all we can do is stay a little bit stronger today. Good luck at work! You can do it!

Ok…here it goes, I send this to my buddies all the time, to remind them about how things OUGHT to be:

Whatever the goal you are pursuing
No matter how rugged the climb,
    You’re certain to get there
By trying your best and taking one day at a time.

    Forever is hard to imagine
The future may seem far away
But EVERY NEW DAWN is a wonderful chance
To do what you can on that day!

I say you take it a step further and look at every new meal, every new hour….WHATEVER it takes to steer you in the right directions!! Keep them food pushers away!! LOL!

I am just joining you so I thought I would read over previous entires.

I think you did fine. Chips for breakfast..ehh well..lol..been there. But the most important thing to me is that you know moderation is the key. As long as one cookie doesn’t lead to 10,you are doing alright. :) We all need a breather from exercise too. It sounds to me like you had your hands full with cleaning & spending time with the kiddos. That all by itself is priceless.
